So many soccer matches i've played, joystick in my hand (don't be a pervert, please...), in front of a small 14" monitor or, further back in time, facing a NEC tv set (great for Sensi, 'cause it was big as hell), in the great days of the AMIGA 500, that they have become uncountable.

Millions of passes, shots, saves, tackles, lots of great performances, unbelievable near-misses, fantastic goals, incredible sending-offs (in the first SS it was really unbelievable!), big bugs (ohhh baby...), furious resets of the PC/AMIGA, joystick-throwing practise to the nearest wall, violent punches in the desk..."...NO!!! NO!!! NEVER, REF!!! CAN'T BE! YOU SON OF A B$%"$!! IT WASN'T A PENALTY!!! AH...AH...ME? OUTTA HERE? YOU'RE GETTING PAID FOR THIS, YOU BLIND F#$%!!! OH S%&#..."

Ahh..the glorious moments i lived among this healthy virtual competition...

I still recall that in the AMIGA version, that introduced me to this incredible addiction, every tume i got Manchester United, Kaiserslautern, PSV Eindhoven, Monaco or Real Madrid in some competition, i was doomed right from the start...the challenge was on...demanding maximum concentration, razor-sharp eyesight and an incredible mental strenght...it was impressive to enter the room where me and my friends used to gather, either in my place or in another guy's house, and see all that tension in the air...true epics were lived in those days, where we religiously met after-school or during our holidays, seeking the short-lasting glory of a virtual conquest...

I remember the nervous and constant disk-changing (2 disks, one for the manager section and another one for the arcade...), with the choice of the starting eleven and the suffering of the bench-selection...the injured stars and their replacement in the last minute by some rookie, the imaginary scent of the pixelized pitch...oh...:~)))

Many were the highlights i've saved until this day...in the AMIGA i had several disks filled with them...in PC i have dozens and dozens of files piling up in the partitions of my hard drive...

Here are some of them...some of my most spectacular moments of glory ever experienced...some may not be fantastic, not great goals, and not even good plays (well, some of them are, i assure you...), but they are results that mean a lot to me personally, that gave me a lot of emotion and joy...in one of the games that made an everlasting memory of my life in front of a computer...

They aren't in a random order, they follow a personal line...the more they mean to me, the higher they appear in the table...:)

1   NIORT 3 vs 0 MANCHESTER UNITED  SWOS v2.0
A great win for all reasons...the humiliation of Manchester United in the semi-finals of Champions' League...the anger for the defeat of MY team, FC Porto, in 1997...by 4-0...i played this match foaming out of my mouth, sleeves up to my elbows and sharp claws...the result...judge for yourself!
2   Jugoslávia 1 vs 6 Portugal  SWOS v2.0
Is there any bigger glory than being World Champion? I think not...and it was that same glory i achieved with my country's team...a win by 6-1 to the mighty Yugoslavia in the final match, shows power...:) and there are equally great goals...running the ball inside the goal...great shots from far away...free-kicks...
3   Niort 5 vs 0 Club Brugge  SWOS v2.0
A game that touched mee straight in my heart...Club Brugge was the first team i chose when i started playing Sensible WORLD of Soccer (yes, only in WORLD, because in the others...it's been so long...but the first team was Galatasaray...unforgettable). The goals are trademark MOCAS©...some are good...very good...
4   Niort 6 vs 0 Spartak Moscovo  SWOS v2.0
A good win in the Champions' League final, for 6-0, against a tough Spartak Moscow, but easy to overpower...the fourth goal is excellent...worth the wait and the download...
5   Lyon 0 vs 2 Niort  SWOS v2.0
A match against one of the toughest teams i've ever had the chance to face. The midfielders are very fast and recover a lot of lost balls, leaving me with no chance of building up play slowly with a short passing game. The keeper (Pascal Olmeta - see PLAYERS - GOALKEEPERS) is fantastic...the second goal is a great header...;)
6   Öster 0 vs 4 Niort  SWOS v2.0
A good win by 4-0, over a team that never presented itself as an obstacle to any my teams...then why is the file here? It just so happens that the fourth goal is a tremendous lob...the author? Giuseppe Giannini (see PLAYERS - MIDFIELDERS...the one and only...
7   Toulon 0 vs 5 Niort  SWOS v2.0
A victory by five goals to nil over a weak team, but the goals are very good, and show my game style...excellent work by one of my golden boys...Martin Palermo (see PLAYERS - FORWARDS)...great ball control and a strong shot...great goal (the fifth)!
8   Besiktas 0 vs 4 Altay  SWOS v1.0
An adventure in the rough Turkish soccer, played Germany-style, with lots of fouls and injuries...so, i got fast guys to the attack front, et voilá! Great goals in this particular match...
9   Fulham 3 vs 0 Gillingham  SWOS v1.0
British soccer has a very big influence in me, and therefore i started a career in the Third Division, with a team i had already coached in CM2..really REALLY good goals...you gotta see'em!
10   Hartlepool 4 vs 0 Scunthorpe  SWOS v1.0
Again, an english team i had previously managed in CM2...i tried them out...and the goals are, again, well...not superb, but quality! The first goal is the play i usually begin a match with...
