These men are the true reason of soccer's popularity, it's is through them that the sport grows, and they grow with it.

In a team, the decision about who plays belongs to the coach. But inside the field, in the uncertainty of the match, in the challenge of the challenge itself, THEY make the decisions...they shoot, head the ball, tackle, defend...

These are, as far as I'm concerned, some of the best players in Sensible Soccer, ONLY in version 96/97, with a small but pertinent singularity...none of them is over £1, in the act of purchase...they can outnumber that value in the long term, but nothing over one million pounds when the player is bought...

The REALLY good players have a different background, in contrast with the position-coded-background commoners...:)

The charts are easy to go through, and i don't think you'll have any problems. However, here are some guidelines for easier browsing:

• the is my personal appreciation...the more stars, the more i like the player...a 5-star player gets his background in a different colour - that means he's highly recommended;
• underneath every player name there's a team name...it is his team of origin in SWOS, not in real life;
• the pictures are of the actual player, of course;
• some of the team strips are coloured by me, because some teams have different colours nowadays.
